Launching The New Project Of Ras El Hekma by Modon Holding EG

President El-Sisi and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Witness the Launch of Ras El Hekma Project

In a historic step towards advancing regional development and international cooperation, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed have officially witnessed the launch of the Ras El Hekma project – a transformative initiative on Egypt’s North Coast.

The project brings together strategic partnerships between Egyptian and Emirati entities, with Modon Holding appointed as the master developer of Ras El Hekma. 

A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Modon and Elsewedy Industrial Development to establish an industrial zone that will support the broader development of Ras El Hekma.

The scale of the project is underscored by the involvement of 10 companies from six countries: Egypt, the UAE, the United States, Italy, France, and Spain.

Key contributors to the project include:

• Orascom Construction as the main contractor for site preparation and construction.

• TAQA, exploring opportunities for developing and operating infrastructure projects.

• Elsewedy Electric, responsible for supplying construction materials.

• e& Egypt, leading the design and implementation of smart city infrastructure.

• Abu Dhabi Airports, assigned to design, develop, and operate the new city airport

• Kandy International, engaging in potential real estate development collaboration.

• Montage International and Accor – Ennismore, developing and operating hotels and resorts within Ras El Hekma.

• A partnership with Valderrama, focusing on the development and operation of golf courses.

The Ras El Hekma project represents a major milestone in Egypt’s urban and economic development journey, promising to set new standards in infrastructure, tourism, and sustainable growth.
